Charles Busch in conversation with Melissa Errico
Charles Busch, a Tony Award-nominated writer and Sundance Festival award winner, will be appearing in conversation with the Broadway and concert performer and journalist Melissa Errico. They will converse about Busch’s career as well as his memoir Leading Lady: A Memoir of a Most Unusual Boy. Charles has created a unique place in the entertainment world as playwright, LGBT icon, actor, director, and cabaret performer. Charles writes of his earliest influence, his Aunt Lil, and his close friendship with Joan Rivers and other theatrical luminaries including Angela Lansbury, Elaine Stritch, and Carol Channing. Beginning in March, Charles will be performing in his show “Ibsen’s Ghost” at Primary Stages. Full of humor and heart, Leading Lady is perfect for theatre fans new and old, as well as anyone who knows the joy of finally finding the craft that makes their soul sing.
