Join author Christine Coulson and skilled moderator Glenn Raucher as they go behind the scenes at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Eavesdrop 18th-century armchairs, renaissance sculptures, and iconic 20th-century artworks speak their mind.

Author Christine Coulson began her career at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in 1991 as a summer intern in the European Paintings Department. She returned in 1994 and, over the next 25 years, rose through the ranks of the Museum, working in the Development Office, the Director’s Office, and the Department of European Sculpture and Decorative Arts. Glenn Raucher's (Interviewer / Moderator) many years of Arts Administration leadership include being the Literary Arts Director at The West Side YMCA Writer’s Voice; nearly nine years as Director of Theater Operations at The Film Society of Lincoln Center; Managing Director at The Hudson Valley Writers’ Center; and General Manager of The Quad Cinema. He was the host of the long-running Half King Reading Series from 2017-2019, and now is the host of his own series, PageTurners Reading Series, held at DeKalb Stage’s The Nook, in Brooklyn. For 12 years he was the singer and lyricist for Home to Henry, winner of a Merit Award in Billboard Magazine’s 2003 & 2004 “Song of the Year Contest”. The band released 3 recordings on their own independent label. He is married to Andrea Shane, with whom he runs Books on Call NYC, New York City’s only exclusively off-site bookselling service, handling over 500 author events in and around New York City each year.
