Artist Fellows Salon
The National Arts Club Artists’ Salon is a newly created series led by our Artists Fellows that serves to spark open-minded dialogue about art and the way that it shapes the world around us. Each month, one set of Fellows will present a topic relating to their practice and passions, from visual art to film to music and beyond. Engage in open-minded discussions with other guests, get to know the talented NAC Artist Fellows cohort, and leave with a deeper understanding of our artistic community.
Join National Arts Club 2024 Artist Fellows Lydia Cornett and Nancy Ma on Wednesday, April 10 at 5:30 p.m. in our lower galleries for an exploration of cinema and an in-depth dialogue exploring the crucial themes of home, displacement, and identity. They will present a collection of short films from emerging filmmakers worldwide and challenge guests to participate in an open-minded dialogue addressing the challenging yet imperative topics presented in the films. You will leave with new insights, shared perspectives and a deeper understanding of the human experience through the medium of film. The Salon will be moderated by fellow film maker and NAC Artist Fellow, Caroline Golum.
