Join us for an evening with this year’s outstanding National Arts Club Artist Fellows in film and explore the breadth of contemporary filmmaking with samples of their work and works-in-progress. Lydia Cornett is a musician turned film director and editor. Her work explores the contours of labor, language, and artistic expression across nonfiction and experimental forms. It has screened at festivals like BAMCinemaFest and the Hamptons International Film Festival and has been distributed and featured by The New Yorker and POV Documentary (PBS), among others. Caroline Golum is a contributing editor and podcast co-host for Screen Slate, as well as an experienced film curator and streaming media specialist. Her debut feature, A Feast of Man (2017) is now streaming on major platforms. Her second feature, Revelations of Divine Love, is in post-production, while she is working on her next film A Different Man. Nancy Ma is an actor, playwright, and filmmaker. Her art explores grief, memory, language, and home and has been supported by NYFA, BRIC Arts Media, and the Asian American Arts Alliance, among others. She is also a performing artist-in-residence at the Museum of Chinese in America. Onscreen, she is known for Barry (2018), Hacks (2021) and American Bodies (2019).
