The Future of Digital Art: Current Trends and New Horizons

Join us in an evening of discussion between the co-founder of ACE ComicCon and contemporary artist, Gareb Shamus and the Manager of Digital Art Sales at Christie’s, Sebastian Sanchez, moderated by art historian and technologist, Professor Emily L. Spratt. Together they will explore trends in the digital art scene, NFTs and their impact on industry, the importance of the community in the creative sector, and their expectations of art and emerging technologies in 2024 and beyond. Gareb published Wizard Magazine and produced 180 ComicCon bringing together a global community of passionate fans. Before joining Christie’s, Sanchez spearheaded web3 projects with brands such as Warner Brothers amd HBO, and co-founded generative art platform ARTXCODE. Dr. Spratt is a noted pioneer in art and artificial intelligence. She teaches in the Department of Art History and Archaeology at Columbia University.
