Ben, Virginia and Me: An Original Musical

Thursday, March 8
8:00 - 9:30 PM

Film and panel discussion

Ben, Virginia and Me is a fascinating tale of love, ambition, friendship, and redemption. As Walter Valentino Liberace pursues his dream of showmanship, fate places him in the path of notorious gangster Ben (Bugsy) Siegel and Ben's girlfriend Virginia, who bring him to their Las Vegas hotel where they transform him into the flamboyantly costumed legend the world came to know and love.
Last year, the Theatre Committee presented a concert version of this musical. This time, you will see an abridged video presentation of highlights of this critically acclaimed musical, followed by a panel of theatre professionals discussing the pathway to "Creating a Broadway Show." Included in the panel are reviewer Frank DiLella, “Banker to Broadway” Barbara Von Borstel, creator Barbara Carole Sickmen, and lawyer/producer Ron Sickmen.
