A wax museum is set afire with the owner inside; he survives, with terrible disfigurement crippled hands, and confined to a wheelchair. He builds a new House of Wax which includes a Chamber of Horrors showcasing famous crimes both historical and recent. Why is it that the wax figures bear uncanny resemblance to certain of the film’s characters?
     Following the screening, Victoria Price will discuss the film and her famous father with Lee Pfeiffer, editor-in-chief of Cinema Retro Magazine, a publication dedicated to films of the 1960s and ‘70s, and its companion website cinemaretro.com
     Introducing the film will be Alan Sklar, who owned Alan’s Alley Video, a famed haven for great films in the heart of Chelsea for 27 years. A documentary film about Alan and his customers, There Were Always Dogs, Never Kids, can be found on Amazon Prime.
