Bonnet Bash 2022: A Feast for the Eyes

You are cordially invited to attend the return of the Bonnet Bash: the annual headwear extravaganza is back in person at the National Arts Club! Feast your eyes on an installation of sumptuous headdresses created by Darrell Thorne, and feed your soul on a visual banquet of headwear in a decadent environment designed by Sarah Sparkles. Behold a buffet of performances by Darrell Thorne Studios and artist Michael F. ChipNipple, while sipping specialty cocktails and dancing to the music of DJ Tim “Journeyman” Fielding.
Cook up your own hat for a chance to win the prize for “Food for Thought,” “Michelin Star,” or “Cornucopia,” awarded by celebrity designer Veritee Hill.
Costume designer and performer Darrell Thorne is a creator of sculptural headpieces for stage and screen, outfitting dance companies and entertainers like Madonna and participants of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
Designer Sarah Sparkles is owner of Sparkledome Studio Crystal Fine Art, Props & Accessories, and as a window dresser, has contributed to the famous Bergdorf-Goodman holiday windows for 15 years.
Fashion designer Veritee Hill is known for crafting headwear and corsetry favored by celebrities including Cyndi Lauper and Naomi Campbell.
Tim Fielding is an innovator in the field of electronic dance music and the creative force behind music label “Journeys by DJ” and groundbreaking London dance clubs.
