Join the experts in exploring the reasons bolo ties and rhinestone-covered jackets are in again. Nathaniel “Natty” Adams is a New Orleans based writer and custom suit maker. He is the co-author of I am Dandy, and We are Dandy: The Elegant Gentleman Around the World, and has written on style for many publications such as The New York Times. He is the owner of Natty Adams custom suit company and a regular contributor to InsideHook magazine.
     Sonya Abrego holds a PhD in design history and material culture from Bard Graduate Center and has taught fashion and design history at Parsons, the Pratt Institute, and FIT. She is presently working on a book about Western wear in postwar America.
     Jerry Lee Atwood is the founder of Union Western clothing, designing elaborate, embroidered Western suiting worn by many country music stars. Musical entertainment by Susquehanna Industrial Tool & Die Company, provider of Hillbilly-styled ballads, boogies and blues. Western style is greatly encouraged! 



This event is free and open to the public, however an RSVP is required at nationalartsclub.eventbrite.com.

PLEASE NOTE that members of The National Arts Club are not required to RSVP. A block of seats has been set aside for our members, however seating is first-come, first-served and entry to the event can not be guaranteed. Please arrive 20-30 minutes before the event start time.
