Celebrating International Archaeology Day with
His Excellency Ambassador Mohamed Edrees of Egypt:
Egypt:  A Journey along the History of Civilization

Thursday, October 17
6:30 PM

Egypt and Civilization are words which belong together. Much inquiry has centered around tombs, temples, monuments. It is instructive to witness a rare culture and legacy encompassing Pharaohs, Ptolemaics, Copts, Muslims. With creative perspective, the diversity and density of layers existing beyond time can be understood. Egypt served as melting pot, integrated into a singular heritage. Together we embark upon a voyage unlike any other: a journey extending from rocks to symbols and from people to intellectual concepts, humanity’s journey through history to a unique civilization.

RSVP required. NAC Members please email [email protected] by October 1 to reserve your spot.

This event is free and open to the public, however an RSVP is required at nationalartsclub.eventbrite.com.
