| Where is The National Arts Club? |

The
National Arts Club is located at 15 Gramercy Park South (20th
Street) between Park and Irving Place, on the southwest corner
of Gramercy Park.

Subway: Take the 6 train to 23rd Street and walk south
on Park Ave. Make a left on 20th Street, and walk half a block.
You will find us across from Gramercy Park.

| Are Events Open to the Public? |

Club events at The National Arts Club are open to Members and their guests only. The exceptions are gallery shows and private events. You can check the gallery calendar here. For information on private events, contact the sponsoring organization.

What is The Dress Code?

The
National Arts Club's suggested dress code for non-members
at open events is business casual. This code is strictly encouraged.
Inappropriate attire is listed below:
Leggings, stirrup pants, capri pants
Shorts or cut-offs
Sweatshirts, sweatpants, or jogging suits
Halter dresses or sundresses
Denim of any type or in any color, including dresses, shirts,
skirts, vests and/or slacks
Spandex or Lycra garments
T-shirts, tank tops or crop tops

Membership
is by invitation only. To be considered for an invitation,
please send a letter of interest accompanied by a cv of your
achievements and volunteer history to the Club, ATTN: Aldon

| Where Are the Archival Records of The National Arts Club? |
| |
The archival records of the National Arts Club, covering the years 1898-1960, are housed at the Archives of American Art, Smithsonian Institution, located at 750 9th Street, NW, Victor Building, Suite 2200, in Washington, D.C. (202.633.7950). Microfilm copies of the records are available at the New York branch of the AAA, located at 1285 Avenue of the Americas, lobby level (212.399.5015), and at the Boston Public Library; the Amon Carter Museum, Forth Worth, Texas; the M. H. de Young Museum, San Francisco; and the Huntington, Library, San Marino, California.
The NAC records should be consulted by anyone wishing to do research on club history, including tracing past members and exhibitions.
