   Join Nichelle Gainer, author of Vintage Black Glamour and Vintage Black Glamour: Gentlemen’s Quarters for an insightful evening exploring the lives of glamorous men and women.
   In her books, Gainer has unearthed a revealing treasure trove of historic photographs of famous 20th century actors, dancers, writers and entertainers. Alongside the familiar images and stories of renowned performers such as Eartha Kitt, Lena Horne, Prince and Sidney Poitier, are those of less well-remembered figures such as Bricktop, Nipsey Russell and Stephen Burrows. Vintage Black Glamour and Vintage Black Glamour: Gentlemen’s Quarters (Rocket 88) are unique, sumptuous and revealing celebrations of the lives and indomitable spirit of black women and men of a previous era who continue to inspire to the present day.
