New York Youth Symphony Chamber Music Players Tuesday, March 19 7:30 PM Musical performance Celebrate the first day of spring with the virtuosi of the New York Youth Symphony Chamber Music Program. These extraordinary young artists return to The National Arts Club to perform beloved classical masterpieces and exciting new works. Join us for an exhilarating evening of music among friends. The New York Youth Symphony, established in 1962, is the most awarded youth program of its kind in the nation. The NYYS Chamber Music Program, now in its 37th season, brings talented players together in small ensembles, supported by coaching and master classes with distinguished guest artists, including members of the Orion Quartet, the Juilliard String Quartet, and the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center. Performances include community concerts as well as recitals at Symphony Space and Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall. A reception will follow the program.
