To Witness Creativity:
Historic Artists' Homes and Studios of the United States

Wednesday, October 24
7:00 PM

Visual presentation

The National Arts Club is a testament to the strong artistic legacy here in New York, including roots tracing back to painters of the Hudson River School. Today this heritage remains vibrant and accessible through spaces like the NAC, but also through the preserved historic houses of artists Chaim Gross and Donald Judd. Artists who worked in other regions of the country often also had strong connections to New York-the enduring center of the American art world.
Valerie Balint, Program Manager of the Historic Artists' Homes and Studios Program will introduce the breadth and depth of artists' homes and studios open throughout the country and their New York ties. Balint will discuss a diverse group of artists, artistic styles, and the unique immersive experience offered at these preserved sites.
