An Evening with Investigative Journalist Patrick Radden Keefe

Monday, March 11
8:00 PM

Book reading and signing

Readers of The New Yorker are already familiar with Radden Keefe’s inspired, astutely researched reportage. His wide-ranging features—on the Sackler family’s opioid fortune, Chinatown’s underworld, or the capture of El Chapo—have made news headlines while also vividly revealing the hidden stories behind today’s larger events. In his latest book, Say Nothing: A True Story of Murder and Memory in Northern Ireland, Radden Keefe explores the secretive and violent culture of the Provisional IRA. Radden Keefe will discuss the legwork and detailed reporting which enabled him to write this gripping narrative history, which David Grann (Killers of the Osage Flower Moon) calls “a work of revelation” and Gillian Flynn (Gone Girl) calls a “must read”.
Patrick Radden Keefe, a staff writer at The New Yorker, is also the author of Chatter: Uncovering the Echelon Surveillance Network and the Secret World of Global Eavesdropping, and The Snakehead.
