Conversation

Not only has he distinguished himself on Broadway, at the Kennedy Center, and in other settings, during the Cold War period, Nagle Jackson was the first American to direct in the Soviet Union. As a producer he has earned plaudits as Artistic Director at the Milwaukee Repertory Theatre and at the McCarter Theatre in Princeton, where his achievements contributed to that institution's winning a coveted regional-theatre Tony Award. He has also directed classics at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, the Hartford Stage Company, the Seattle Repertory Company, and Santa Fe's Shakespeare in the Garden.
Mr. Jackson is a gifted performer and also an award-winning dramatist who has written scripts for some of today's most admired actors. We hope you'll join Mr. Jackson and host John Andrews for the latest installment in a converation series that commenced in 1998 at the National Press Club in Washington.
