New York Philharmonic Soloists:
An Evening of Flute, Viola and Harp

Mindy Kaufman joined the New York Philharmonic as flute and piccolo in 1979 at the age of 22. Ms. Kaufman has appeared as a soloist with the New York Philharmonic under the direction of former Music Directors Zubin Mehta, Kurt Masur, and Lorin Maazel    
   Rebecca Young joined the New York Philharmonic as its youngest member in 1986. In October of 1993 she won her current position of Associate Principal Viola. She is also principal violist of the All-Star Orchestra, the award-winning PBS TV series.  
    Nancy Allen joined the New York Philharmonic in June of 1999 as Principal Harpist. Hailed by The New York Times, as "a major artist" following her recital debut in 1975, she also heads the harp departments of the Juilliard School, Yale School of Music, and the Aspen Music Festival.    
   The trio will perform Debussy’s exquisite Sonata for Flute, Viola and Harp, and more.
