Ring in Spring with Youth and Music: New York Youth Symphony Tuesday, March 20 7:30 PM Musical performance Celebrate the first day of spring with the virtuosi of the New York Youth Symphony Chamber Music Program. These extraordinary young artists return to The National Arts Club with works by Beethoven, Brahms, Schubert, Bartok and others. Join us for an exhilarating evening of music among friends. Celebrating its 55th Season, the New York Youth Symphony is the most-awarded youth program of its kind in the nation. Information about its programs is at http://www.nyys.org. The NYYS Chamber Music Program, now in its 36th season, brings talented players together in small ensembles, supported by coaching and master classes with distinguished guest artists, including members of the Orion Quartet, the Juilliard String Quartet, and the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center. Performances include community concerts, as well as recitals at Symphony Space and Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall. A reception will follow the program.
