Eleanor Roosevelt remains one of the most admired figures in American History. Blanche Wiesen Cook will present and discuss the third volume of her Roosevelt biography. Eleanor Roosevelt: Volumes 1-2 were New York Times bestsellers with Volume 3 listed in The New York Times's 100 Notable Books of 2016 and NPR's 2016’s Ten Best Books.  Each volume portrays Roosevelt within the carefully researched historical period.
“Cook…resurrected a woman who changed the lives of millions…Fascinating reading.” – The Washington Post Book World. We look forward to a dynamic presentation by Blanche Wiesen Cook, Distinguished Professor of History at John Jay College and The City University of New York Graduate Center.
