The legendary Pamela Churchill Harriman, currently U.S. Ambassador to France, is alone in a suite at the Hôtel Ritz, except for Pietro, her Italian valet. Pamela, daughter-in-law of Sir Winston Churchill, adventuress, socialite, the maker of a U.S. President, and considered to be the most famous courtesan of the twentieth century, faces her most challenging crisis. You are invited to Pamela’s sale of a lifetime which includes the Picasso, the Renoir, the Matisse and a sensational, no holds-barred account of her amazing exploits. Tony-nominated actress Penny Fuller appears as Pamela. Michael Wilson directs The play was originally developed in the U.K. with award-winning BBC director David Giles and supported by the Arts Council England. Leipart’s play A Kind of Marriage received a 2015 Arch and Bruce Brown Foundation LGBT Playwrighting Award and a 2017 Production Award.
