The Handbook of Drone Photography by Chase Guttman,
Young Travel Photographer Of The Year

Tuesday, June 20
8:00 PM

Join us for an adventure into the thrilling world of aerial photography guided by 20-year-old Chase Guttman, recipient of the Walter Cronkite Award for Excellence in Storytelling and Exploration and author of The Handbook of Drone Photography.
“Gaze upward. There’s new technology hovering on the horizon and it’s making a dramatic ascendancy. Drones are an artist’s dream medium. They allow us to explore a scene while discovering the unseen. The photographs and videos that we create are no longer constricted by human limitations. The introduction of these exciting new tools enable us to redefine contemporary imagery by giving individuals the opportunity to appreciate the breadth and scale of their world. With this incredible technology, our creative minds can take flight.”
Guttman, whose travels span more than 55 countries and every U.S. state, will talk about his book and present a slideshow of his imagery, showcasing his drone and revealing how he was able to capture photographs from around the world.
Guttman three times won Young Travel Photographer of the Year and he was named a Top Travel Photographer by Conde Nast Traveler and a Rising Star by Instagram. His book has received accolades from Travel + Leisure, The Telegraph and Business Insider, with The New York Post calling it “the most amazing drone photography.”
