Toute la Vie: a ghost story and a little history of the NAC

Tuesday, May 30
8:00 PM

Join us for an evening of live jazz, film screening and National Arts Club history.

Toute La Vie is a mysterious romantic comedy with an eerie twist set in the Art Déco - Jazz Era, primarily filmed at The National Arts Club. Inspired by the majestic beauty of the Club, Toute La Vie tells a short story of two ghosts who are trapped in the building, as a purgatory, reliving the first night that they met. Intriguing dialogue of the possibility of a secret underground passage leading to 14th Street is mentioned.
Fictitious or not, we shall find out whether the mystery is true, with a historic and anecdotal walk through club history never touched upon before, presented by Eugene Weise M.D., who is also Chair of House Committee. The film is written and directed by Ella Misché, and produced by Galileo Productions,
A jazz band will greet us upon arrival and play original soundtrack from Toute La Vie. After the film screening, Dr. Weise will discuss the history of the club, followed by a Q&A.
Stay for refreshments and mingle with guests and members, sharing your best stories of The National Arts Club.
